Welcome to Nature's Works of Art
We create classic, rustic tables, furniture, and accessories from the finest hardwood trees grown in the Appalachian Mountains. Nature’s Works of Art was born from the God given talent of Scott Forsythe, who creates museum quality pieces which invite nature into any living environment. His one-of-a-kind, functional art is enjoyed throughout the United States from Alaska to New York City.
Scott uses salvaged old forest growth trees including wormy chestnut, oak, cherry, maple, black walnut, apple, hickory, and burl. He uses woods from local North Carolina Mountains and sometimes weaves his work with rhododendron. Scott’s pieces are recycled from fallen logs – some of which no longer grow in the United States and others that were seedlings when Napoleon walked the earth 200 years ago.
Going "green"? How about sharing space with old forest growth furniture that is authentic art? Scott doesn’t cut live trees; rather he uses recycled woods downed in Mother Nature’s time. This is recycling at its best.
Nature’s Works of Art offers classic, rustic furniture to be enjoyed and appreciated for generations yet to come. We invite you to view Scott's work to see how the unparalleled splendor of nature will enhance your surroundings with organic beauty.
